Department of Art History Professor, Steven Ostrow, is co-editor of Bernini's Biographies: Critical Essays, published by Pennsylvania State University Press, 2009 Co-edited by Marten Delbeke, Evonne Levy, and Steven OstrowA book review appears in the Oxford Art Journal. Online access available to the OAJ from the U of MN Libraries. An excerpt from the review reads:
"As an edited volume of scholarly essays, this collection sets a new standard for excellence. The idea for the volume came out of a postgraduate seminar taught by Evonne Levy at the University of Toronto, which was then refined and expanded through an international conference. The quality of all the contributions is uniformly high - something that can rarely be said of such collections. All three of the editors contributed essays, with one of the most interesting being Ostrow's subtle 'interrogation' of Bernini's voice as it is captured in the differing typographical frameworks of the published texts."
The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it'll do even better in those areas, but for now it's a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod's strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
