US Airways and American Airlines announced that they are likely to merge this week. According to the New York Times, this long negotiated merge would form the largest airline in the country.
ABC News said that the airline would be based in Fort Worth and it has already been decided that American Airlines will keep the name for the joint company.
"[T]here'll be an AMR board meeting early this week to vote on matters. That's what we've been told, and that hasn't changed since the middle of last week," Dallas News said.
