Promoting Excellence in Advising Student-Athletes
Erin Swanson and Robert Simon will lead a discussion on the student-athlete experience through the lens of advising, specifically at the University of Minnesota. Who exactly is the MAC? What do they do? What services do they provide for the student-athletes? How are the needs of student-athletes different from the general student population? What is the difference between Big Ten and NCAA rules? How are they certified for eligibility each semester? All these questions and more will be answered in the October 15th AAN professional seminar.
