Medical researchers say millions of women are at risk for hard-to-treat bladder infections because of superbugs which are growing in chickens and being transmitted to humans in the form of E. coli.
Randall Singer, Ph.D., associate professor epidemiology at the U's Department of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences, says "These studies have nothing to do with antibiotics in poultry product."
