Is decline in births really all about economy?

If nearly half of U.S. pregnancies are unplanned, then how can the economy alone be blamed for the recent decline in births?
Wendy Hellerstedt, Ph.D., an associate professor at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health says it may be more about a decreased in unplanned or unwanted pregnancies.
