Pew Survey on Social Networking

I just came accross a recent survey report by the Pew Foundation on social networking. According to the report from ages 15 to 17, 70 percent of girls, had profiles on social networking sites and 57 percent of boys from the same age cohort. More than 85 % of the people were using MySpace and around 7% were using the Facebook for social networking.

The PDF version of the report is available at the following URL: http://www.pewinternet.org/pdfs/PIP_SNS_Data_Memo_Jan_2007.pdf
