Hello all!
Nic and I (Heba) will be presenting our projects on Sunday night, May 11 (pending the weather). The plan is to meet at the art dept at 8pm and bike over to our special location!
Hope to see you guys there.

why not wednesday part 1
why not wednesday part ....
there is so much more to see and explore on the blog....since the group has so many people and things going on it is impossible for one person to document everything so we all have worked together to document the experience using the blog as the main hub of activity and content. check out the main page to see the most current news and outing info. This group is just getting started so check back often and maybe come for an outing!

Still images continue to be the better form of documentation of our outings...
A most pleasant outing with Tyler and Heba (and Heba's +1, Johan),
this time to the bigger silos across the river...
My bike was stolen from dinkytown (como) area this weekend.. It's a blue Kabuki road bike with pink grip tape on drop handle bars and a newer womens sport seat and stickers on the frame.. if you see anyone riding this bike (zombie kill them) or see it listed for sale anywhere let me know.. :( Kara
Many of them, under a pound, all LED powered, and all of them run off batteries.
Here are the noteworthy ones, in order from best to worst imho:
InFocus Work Big LP120
Toshiba TDP-FF1AU
Mitsubishi Pocket Projector PK20
Boxlight Bumblebee
I had them make a few alterations----

Hey All--- just thought i would send an update--- i had surgery this morning--- in doing well--- my mouth is wired shut--- an interesting experience---
since we are all visual beings--- here is a pic for you all to enjoy--- see you all later---

So we made it all the way to East bank before poor Ben had an unfortunate run-in with some well-hidden cement stairs. His jaw was broken in two places and will require re-constructive surgery. His spirit was not broken, though, as he requested that we document his experience and that we continue the outing while he was escorted to the hospital. Stay well sedated Ben!! :)
After a dramatic start, we had a very successful outing.
David S., Andrea and Amelia rocked it with their project testers.
Here are some more pictures.
Andrea took some video, perhaps she'll put it up soon... (hint hint!)
JP Hungleman joined us for some live beats.
Also learned that we can run 2 projectors off 1 generator for a surprisingly long time.
