An acclaimed Finnish artist known for moving-image installations, Ahtila's newest work is a dreamlike exploration of death from moral, political, and philosophical perspectives. Resonating with contemporary Western/Arab relations, the film references the 1950s killing of a French boy by his two Algerian friends. Utilizing split screen, animation, and digital effects, Where is Where? screened at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival. Area premiere. 2009, video, in Finnish with English subtitles, 61 minutes. Tickets: $8 ($6 Walker members)

-Tonya and Lindsay to track down lists of past artists and grad letters of support.
-List of artist partner institutional support- talk about that at lunch with Walker.
-Lunch with Walker and Co: Partners include: Chris Atkins, MIA, Allison Herrera, Andrea Hickey, Sarah Peters, Witt Walker, Tom from MCAD, John Rasmussen, Midway, Steve Dietz, Northern Lights.  Lunch is tentatively scheduled for Dec. 14th,
-Ali Momeni will be the Chief Food Consultant for this event
-Jenny, Chris and Chris: Pursue meeting with Dean
