Ellie Drotning- Post #2

After much bouncing back and forth about my drawing, and probably 40 thumbnails sketches... here's sketches of the last two I've narrowed it down to. I also have posted a scan of the two papers I bought- I haven't decided which, or both to use yet.

the final drawing that you chose was well done. The design on the left shown is the one you chose but you also added a baby cheetah cub I believe. maybe it was a tiger. Anyways, the paper you decided to use worked well because the detail of each object in the image was visible. At first I thought her steel helmet was some type of crown, but I quickly noticed that it was a soldier helmet. The part of the symbol on her steel chest helps to convey her armor as well. I wanted to know what the animal symbolized because I couldn't quite figure out why you added that in. I could tell that your person was a powerful and strong person. She was a warrior, and she must have been a leader as well the soldier image helped to point that out. She also seemed to be fearless of anything with her intense expression on her face. I don't think you had much in the background from what I remember, but I could be wrong. I was wondering if you were going to tune that up a bit by adding by adding the line soldiers that are in her command? great job! :)
