Micki- Animation
For my animation, I'm doing it on our Labradoodle Murphy who always sits in front of window the entire time until our mom returns home. He will whimper and bark as she is leaving and then just sit and wait. So I'm going to start my animation with my mom saying bye to Murphy and his head will be turned to the sound of her voice, then the door will slam and Murphy will whip is head towards the window to watch her leave. The garage door will open and close and the car will pull back little by little until it disappears. I will be switching from the back view of Murphy to a close up side view of his face to capture the emotion on him at different times in the animation. I will make his tail move back and forth and anything else that moves on his body of course. I will switch to the back view of him to capture the day dwindling down to the evening with the sun moving and appearing at different positions outside the window. I don't think the detail of the outside will be that excessive, just some outlines of the road and sun and whatever else. I'm going to end with my mom walking into the door and Murphy running off the screen and fade out with that. It will be a happy ending with happy music playing in the background. It will start off with some somewhat sad music because Murphy is very depressed that our mom is leaving him for a bit. Barking and whimpering sounds will occur. The drawings on the right side of my paper are of Murphy's head movement when he goes from looking towards the sound of my mom's voice to whipping his head towards the window. I'm still trying to figure out how to make that realistic as I can, but it won't be easy. Some of the other images are side views of murphy to capture his emotion and what the back view images will look like with the car gradually moving back. My title will be "WAITING..." The video I posted is a reference for me to see how someone else created the realistic movement of a dogs head with drawing. I hope you enjoy it!
