Export your animation as a quicktime and bring it in to one of these programs (final cut, imovie, after effects, flash...whichever you're most comfortable with.). They allow you to add the music as a separate layer. Make sense?

For adobe effects, I placed the music into my animation and when I went to play it, the sound didn't work. Is there something I missed when I placed it in? All I did was drag it down into the place I needed it. I didn't do anything else.

did you render the sound? you won't hear it unless it is rendered. also when you export the file (make animation), you need to make sure to check the box that includes audio. It's hard to tell what you haven't done without seeing it in person. Here is a tutorial on how to add sound, if you're still having problems let me know.

Natalie, I'm assuming the "anonymous" post is you? do you have a mac at home? if so, you should have imovie, you can do it in that.
