Hi Matt,
I remember you telling us your idea way back when, and I think you did a great job of delivering what you envisioned. I love how the woman morphs into the salt shaker and how the music jives so well with the movement of you characters. The only part that doesn't flow so well is when the guitar guy walks by slowly. I like it, but its almost too slow or goes on for too long, or something. But aside from that, GREAT JOB! ;)
hey matt! i liked your animation quite a bit. the opening text is done really well, and how it fills in with color goes great with the music. also, i thought the salt shaker turning into the guy with the guitar was very smooth. the only thing i would have liked to have seen is the last couple of scenes drawn out a little longer (with the music credit [?] and your name). but other than that, really nice job, and nice choice of music, too!
Awesome! This is really great. I think that the way you constructed your animation works well with the way the music was constructed...kind of different pieces put together with repetition as well. A story-type animation wouldn't work well with this animation nor would a different type of music. So, I think you made wise choices with your combination. The only thing I would like to see is a longer ending. Your intro or title page was pretty extended and the end might seem less abrupt if it was lengthened more.
Sweet Animation! Loved it. My favorite part is actually when you have the guy playing the banjo just slowly walk across the screen because it that slow movement is in such contrast to everything we had seen so far and it actually goes well with the music because there is a little lull there. And yes...the ending could have been drawn out longer. A little too abrupt. Other than that though it was awesome!
