Nicole!

I love the color and smooth simplicity, I think that effect is your strength. It's one of the more refreshing animations.

Watching this again, however, the map seems out of place. there are two directions I think would work:

No map at all-just the animation.

Or, you go MAP CRAZY and really increase the collage like-quality that I initially thought this animation had. That would be fun.

Nicole -

I thought this was a pretty cool concept and you did a great job pulling it off. The transition from the plane to the whale turned out really well.

The map in the background is hard to make out at this small size. When we watched it in class it wasn't as much of a problem - it just competes a little bit with the plane transformation.

One suggestion I think someone had was to make the map cover the background, but just have it a low opacity white on blue.

Hey Nicole,
I know we talked about this in class but I think that the map would be really great as a background to the animation. I just is a bit distracting where it is. I do like the concept though and the color used.

I think the point where the plane hits the water and the sound transitions from plane noise to whale noise was executed well. I like your map idea, I just think it needs to be developed more.
