Hi Nikki!
So here's my critique of your animation! Firstly, I think this concept is really great. It's so simple, yet SO entertaining. The surprise of the BOOM! is good, and the last few notes of the song are an effective punchline. I remember from our in-progress critique that you were thinking about having the handle fall on him, and I'm a little sad that didn't happen, but it's still awesome. My constructive criticisms are these: The footsteps sound effects in the beginning sound very heavy and thud-like, not the kind of noise I would expect from a little thin stick man. It was a little distracting, I think you could just leave them out. Also, when he starts spinning around the handle, it would have been even funnier if the music had sped up even more. The title and credits also don'y seem to fit the style. They seem like templates. I think you could make some really cute ones that fit your animation style better, so they seem like part of the animation, not just an after-thought. But overall I think it's an adorable, funny, well-done animation! Good job!
Hey Nikki,
first off I'd like to say that I really really like this animation. I think the music is perfect and the style and color work really well together. However I think that you could improve this animation greatly by simply leaving out the title pages and "the end." It will stand fine on it's own and be much more cohesive. Great job!
The animation is simple yet creative enough which makes it entertaining. I loved that you had the character getting caught in the twirl worked well. Oh and after the BOOM effect it was good addition of music. Funny animation!
