Dear Paul,
It's perfect. The timing/fading/music/ sound/concept/subject is all cohesive.
I would enjoy, however, another character involved in the story. Or some color. Or a tumble weed. It seems to end a little fast. I'm grasping here, but I think this could be developed into a series...
I really like the concept and the panning you used, it really makes it fun to watch. One little thing that I noticed was that the characters eyes are black until you zoom in and they're white, it just made me think he didn't have eyes (which actually could work with the falling). I agree with Kaitlin, color would be interesting to see but not necessary.
I think that everyone liked your animation. I liked the scan down a lot, it really gave your animation dimension. Also the billboard as well as the music really added to it. I don't have anything really to be critical of, I guess you could say that you could add value, but I really like your execution and the clean lines look create and its definitely your style. A+
Man, the way you have the music perfectly synced with the animation is great. You used a lot of techniques that set your animation apart from the rest, ie use of key frames and panning, etc. Make that billboard into a t-shirt today, or I will.
