Sketchbook Post #9: Kelly Grahn
Since I wasn't in class last week and posted my figure drawing then, in this post I'm going to talk about my graphic novel progress and an interesting gallery I found in Japan.
Design Festa Gallery is an international exhibition space where everywhere can be rented to display work, even the bathrooms and shower rooms. It's located in Tokyo's fashion district of Harajuku and is very interesting.
Here is my main character for my graphic novel. I have the thumbnails for my project laid out- the only text is going to be that of the postcard so I'm doing a lot with images. My novel is going to end up being around 8 pages most likely, but I have a very simple style in mind so it should work out just fine.
