Sketchbook Post #10: Lindsey Ostby
I'm slighty changing my idea. The storyline will remain the same...a young girl going through the stages where she wants to grow up too fast. She does this through wearing a lot of makeup and dressing differently. Her mom later convinces her she is beautiful the way she is. I think what I'm going to do is tell this narrative with text and dialogue while also telling a narrative through antique photographs without text. These photographs will relate to my story but it will seem as if there is two stories of two different girls. One of days long ago and one in contemporary times. My drawings will be like the ones I posted earlier but the hard part will be finding the antique photographs that tell the right story that I want to come across to the reader.
