The Center for German & European Studies at the University of Minnesota provides fellowships for U of M students to serve as interns in elementary schools in Berlin, Germany. The program is open to undergraduate and graduate students. Interns work in an English-language classroom four days a week. One day is open for research and other activities. Program duration: June 6 to July 4, 2009. German language proficiency preferred but not required. Up to 15 fellowships are available. Application deadline: February 9,2009.
