Sprinkler Fun
This last weekend was extremely busy, so last night when we decided to grill out with Drew's Dad and Char I decided to put Hannah in her swim suit and get out the sprinkler. Hannah had a blast running and screaming through the cold water and convincing Drew and I to go through it too. We have our tricks to not get too wet and to get her as wet as possible. She had a blast.
While she was playing she figured out that she could drink from the sprinkler. I think she was trying to wash her face at the time because she had just finished a messy ice cream treat. After she experimented for a while she decided that maybe someone else would like a drink too and being the good hostess that she is she walked over to Grandpa Tom, face dripping with water, and asked very nicely "would you like a drink too?". To which Tom said "no thank you". Hannah turned to Nanna Char and said "Would you like a drink?" Another no.. but Hannah, being such a great hostess, turns and asks "Mommy, would you like a drink from the sprinkler?" yet another no.. oh well, time to go play some more. It was the perfect way to end a busy and hot weekend.

Sounds like fun! Spencer wants us to get a sprinkler so he can play. Some kids never outgrow that :)
