We (my husband Chris and I) are getting extremely excited about this study tour as the days get closer. Chris is one of the "guests" on the trip, although I believe he will blend in quite well with the rest of the group. With 19 out of 22 participants being men, he definitely finds himself in the majority! We just could not pass up the opportunity to travel to Brazil, take in all of the activities and do it all together.

Particular aspects of the trip that I am interested in include: witnessing agriculture on a global scale, experiencing alternative enterprises, and the networking opportunities that come with traveling with a group of 22 people. Hopefully, I will have a few more entries here as we get to experience some of the more livestock related stops during the tour. I look forward to sharing all of this with others in Carver & Scott Counties when we return!
