The Snuggle will be televised
Hello Blogosphere!
I now join the illustrious and erudite ranks of Joseph M. Pieper and Mike P(?) Drozdowicz as University of Minnesota bloggers. I now ask myself the question: Can ranks be 'erudite'? Note to self: use dictionary more often as a dictionary and less often as a facade of intelligence!
I chose the format "parchment" because I'm an old soul. But really, I chose the "parchment" format so I could use the phrase "old soul" and then ruminate on how I loathe people who refer to themselves (or anyone else) as old souls. You know what those people are? Boring. I doubt they even watch the Brewers.

What a great first entry!! I thought I would comment as a diversion from working on my own blog which i haven't updated since I was stacking quitiepine and caffeine, which resulted in an unprecedented non-facetious entry and precipitated in a panic attack. Thank god for lorazapam--god, what an unhealthy time in my life. I blame Paul...he could have at least had the decency to let me down easy (ie. faking his death or feigning terminal cancer). Anyway, Your back to your entry--Being the type of person that believes things are defined by everything they are not, your reference to the phrase "old-soul" made me think of "New Soul", which is a song by Yael Niam featured on the MacBook AIR commercial. Both the MacBook air and Yael's song are light, breezy, and lacking real substance just like your first entry.
