This unit connects World War One with the rise of Russian Communism. The least likely place in Europe serves as the birthplace for Communism. Marx predicted it would come as a result of the struggle of the factory workers and the oppressive overloads. Instead, it occurs in rural Russia. While the predicted location was wrong, Marx was correct about the principles that would guide revolution.
