(S9.E7.) WWII: Japanese Internment Camp Story

One of the ugly chapters of World War Two was how the Japanese-Americans were treated after Pearl Harbor. Internment camps were created for these U.S. citizens. They were taken from their homes, their businesses taken over by others, and the people shipped to these camps. Part of the reason was extreme fear about an invasion of the West coast. Another part was racism against those from Japan and other Southeast Asian countries. A student in our class suggested the song and music video. Many thanks to Elizabeth.
