syllabus and notes for first lecture are on line

Hello:
I have added your e-mail to the notification list of the course blog.

This message, besides being a test, lets you know that you can download the syllabus and the lecture notes for the first lecture. If you are able to access and print this material before class, let me know. This way, I can reduce photocopying material that will not be needed.

For future lectures, I will only provide hard copies of the lecture notes when I am unable to post them one day before the respective lecture.

Looking forward to our first day of classes.
