August 2011 Archives

Location: Maple Grove Government Center
Dates: October 1, 2011 (10:00am - 5:00pm) and October 2, 2011 (12:00pm - 5:00pm)
A new and exciting autumn art crawl is coming to Maple Grove! Local artists from around the Twin Cities area will gather together for a two-day event on Saturday, October 1st and Sunday, October 2nd at the Maple Grove Government Center, to present their works of art during the first annual Skyline Art Crawl.
Art enthusiasts of all ages will have the opportunity to visit with the artists, some seasoned and a few new to the scene, and learn the history behind their compositions. The public is encouraged to come and support the local talent by purchasing original, affordable artwork. Some of the media that will be represented in the Skyline Art Crawl include oil, acrylic, watercolor, oil pastel, charcoal, graphite, photography, metal sculpture, pottery and jewelry. Some of the artists will be creating new compositions on-site, so visitors will have the opportunity to see these artists live at work! In addition, Studio Art & Frame will be on-hand to answer any framing questions and offer art crawlers a discount on their framing needs.
This fun and educational event is free and open to the public. Visitors can register to win an original piece of art, as well as one of three baskets of art supplies that will be given away. Bring your camera and have your picture taken with the artists! If you would like further information or would like to make a donation to the Skyline Art Crawl, please visit the official website at: Or contact Tracy Griffin at (612) 308-7836 or

My name is Nicole Plati and I am reaching out to you because I am trying to get in contact with a student of photography at the University. I work for a PR firm in Chicago and one of our clients in Minnesota is looking to move offices. I am looking for a student who could help with a project. We are looking to have high-res pictures taken of their new offices. We will compensate the student.
