Good concept Joe. Are you still using this background image or are you going to change it up? There could be a lot of different images that could be used to create a powerful effect that relates to your concept. A picture of crying or tearing up would have a powerful effect and so would a bully looking facial expression. Are you also set on using yourself on this background image? I also really like how you are using lines to fill up the space. this doesn't crowd the space but gives a sense of connection from one section to another. I hope you use this similar concept and integrate it with the text. it will help lead the eye through the piece more efficiently I think.
