Title: Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
Blurb: An "adaptation" of the Prince of Persia video game with pretty "Persian"-ish actors.
Review: Yes, Hollywood, British accents definitely equal Persia in my mind.
Grade: B+

Nice effects are given in the movie and Gemma Arterton as Tamina suited more than the Prince.

Another so-so game-to-movie adaptation. Shame really, this could have been better.

I still haven't seen this one yet, so your review was really helpful, all one sentence of it! No, really, it's nice to know that Hollywood still thinks that pretty much any nationality in the world can be conveyed by using a British accent. I won't keep my expectations too high for this one.

For a game with such a strong focus on game play, the story is incredibly well crafted as well. A villain named Vizier (the guy that conveniently looks and acts exactly like Jafar from Aladdin) tricks The Prince of Persia into plunging the Dagger of Time into an hourglass, creating a sandstorm that turns all the people of Azad to monsters.

I have a chance to see the movie Prince of Persia: Sands of Time with my boy friend.
He was not like movie this style.
But when he see this movie. he likes a lot.
Because more exciting it.
I recommend to see this movie

The movie is mediocre. It could've been much more, and so it seems the video game curse is still alive and well.

The director should keep in mind that most of the viewers of this film are coming to see this movie, who has played POP series......so there should be similarities in action & climax between the movie and the game.

That was a fantastic flick. I really enjoyed the ending. My kids loved it like you never believe. Did you know they have a lego version of Prince of Persia?

Haha, too true about the British accents thing. Really enjoyed this film though. I love the whole concept of time travel and this film did a great job at utilising it.

Sure everyone is crying out loud about the British accents... "ohh but Persians didn't speak English" yeah but this isn't The Passion of The Christ, or Apocalypto and Mel Gibson was nowhere near the production, Jake Gyllenhaal is an American, but the rest of the cast is British, makes sense they should all have a similar accent doesn't it?? So quit yer whining

It’s not a good movie but by videogame movie standards, it is a masterpiece.
I liked Alfred Molina’s character. I could say a lot of the movie didnt have an Ancient Persia feel, so i’m not going to complain about one character.
