Reflections on Breeze

The breeze activity was very helpful with our group's discussion. I like that it was so easy to insert links. It was not that hard to figure out the tone that people would actually say things in because the people in my group used emoticons and also it was very easy because I have actually met all of my team members, this makes it easier to imagine how they would be saying all of the things out loud. I liked that there were also tools on there that you could draw or sketch something for the group....to make the point clearer. I thought for this project, learning how to use it and stuff, we didn't get as much work done as we could have. A problem with it was that I would be researching online and there would be a conversation going on and i wouldn't know it at all. But otherwise, I thought that it was a pretty good resource.

I enjoyed your comments about Breeze - it seems like you experienced the pros and the cons of virtual environments. The tools in these environment can help you easily explore links and collaborate using the note pad (and even share your screen for demonstrating different concepts), but I also find that it takes a lot of time. Or, you suggest, "we didn't get as much work done as we could have." Overall, I'm glad that you took the opportunity to use Breeze seriously and kept an open mind as to its strengths and weaknesses. Who knows these environments will look like in the next few years!

There are factors to develop effective communication skills. Those emoticons can help a person express his emotions or show facial expressions. Other factor is that you already know the persons whom you are having conversations with.

Effective communication skills is important in this kind of communication method. It is somehow limited that is why you need to have the skills to communicate effectively.

Breeze is quite helpful in team building. It can bring the group members closely even if they do their own tasks individually for the group. Breeze can help the group communicate with each other despite their distance. They can develop their conversations skills using breeze.

With the help of emoticons, emotions can be represented so its easier to know how the other feels or reacts to certain topics. With this, the group's conversation skills will be enhanced because will be able to cope with these limitations.
