This week's definition: To me leadership means the effect a person or a group can have on people to help support and better them throughout their endeavors.
Analysis of the differences in the definitions: In this weeks definition I changed the word influence to effect. In the reading "Deciding what you Need", by Robert Terry he says, "I'm talking about power-not influence, power. Influence is such a wimpy term. Come on! Get Serious. Lets quit avoiding power; face it, own it, and use it (Terry, 2001)." This made me think about the term influence and yes power is a more powerful term, but it is almost too powerful. The word power almost makes me think of something demanding or commanding because that is what usually happens when someone who is considered powerful does such as a coach or president. This is why i chose a less dominating term like effect.

Nice work on the format! Interesting, your definition does not include any common goal, but rather leaves the "endeavors" up to the individual?
