This week's definition: To me leadership means the effect a person or a group can have on people to help support and better them throughout their endeavors to reach a common goal; while doing what is right when no one is watching.
Analysis of the differences in the definitions:These weeks I did not change anything about my definition. None of the reading I feel have to do with what it takes to be a leader. They talk about what people they call leaders have done throughout their lives and what they had to to get to their position. But I don't think that setting up a meeting to have with your peers or employees to find out what they think about things on a less formal level makes someone a good leader. This just means they are personable and can attempt to get to know others not on a work level. There are many others in the world that have done the same things that these famous business people have done and more but yet today most would not consider them a 'good' leader or even just a leader many people do these things and have these traits that I have read about all this summer while taking this class yet they would not even be considered good leaders by most. I think one thing some of these authors are missing is that it is not these traits that make you a leader its how well you are able to use them and how efficiently you put them into act.

Hey Justin,
Nice work with the analysis of the definition for this post. Although you can enter past post for credit, you can't lump them all into one post. You would still need to do each post separately with its own definition, citation in APA, and support. I have credited this post to week 9 meaning you still need 6-8. If you need anymore clarification feel free to contact me.
