This is a revised version of an earlier submission. I attempted to create a smoother transition between the tower and the type...in the previous submission the tower was resting on top of the type but it wasn't integrated very well....hopefully this is better?

I think the integration of type and image works out a lot better too. Nice work.
If you do more with this, I think you could go with even simpler lines in the details of the top of the tower.

Brandon....I love yours! You integraded the tower and Ankara very well. Much better than your first one! I would maybe like to see the top star a bit smaller...just to see how it looks. Just a thought! Nice work!!

I like this version much better - a couple minor tweaks: first, is the tower leaning slightly? It seems like it is, but I'm not sure. As for where the tower connects to the letters, I'd like to see the loop of the 'a' connect a little more cleanly to the right side of the tower (right now there is a little bit of a bump). Finally, I'm not too keen on the kerning between the 'n' and 'k' and the 'a' and 'r'. They're minor, nit-picky things, but something to look at.
