This weblog has been setup to track some of the emerging eBusiness developments that are affecting rural companies across the Upper Midwest. Visit often and let me know and post questions so that I can help share my perceptions as well the perceptions of others.


Bruce Brorson is an Associate Professor in the Math, Science, and Technology Department and the Interim Director of the Instructional Technology Center at the University of Minnesota, Crookston.

Over the past 15 years Mr. Brorson has directed a number of Internet projects that developed advanced management support and eBusiness resources.

Since 1994 Bruce has been an active member of the eWeek Magazine Corporate Partners Advisory Board and a contributor to the "eVal - From the Trenches" columns in the magazine.

Over the past few years he has presented numerous workshops and seminars across the country on cutting edge Internet/eBusiness strategies and technologies. Mr. Brorson also serves on a number of committees and organizations that advocate for equal and universal access to advanced/broadband telecommunications services for rural regions and urban neighborhoods across the country.
