I really liked the excerpt "The Awakening Internet." I found it really interesting to learn the history behind the development of the internet. Most people that use the internet probably don't know how it works or why it was originally developed. I also really liked how it effectively compared the positive aspects of the internet with the negative. One thing I didn't really agree with was that the author talked about when the internet would become self-aware. The internet is was we make it, and it won't become self-aware on it's own.
