This is my first year at the University of Minnesota and I absolutely love it. Deciding to attend this college was not difficult for me. I am from Ham Lake, Minnesota, and I knew I wanted to go to a school semi-close to home. I wanted to be far enough away to gain independence, but still close enough in case I need anything. Also, I love big schools. The moment I stepped on campus I knew this is the college for me; all of the people, buildings, and things to get involved in attracted me. Furthermore, I love the seasons of Minnesota. Even though winter tends to get long and cold, I could not see myself living without it.
I can also not see myself living without dance. I have been dancing my entire life and love it. RIght now I am involved with the Premier Dance Team, which has turned out to be a blast. I have made some wonderful friends, and the dances are great.
Right now I am also in the Carlson School of Management. My plans are to major in marketing, and then go to pharmacy school. I am having an extrememly hard time choosing exactly what I want to do with the rest of my life, but I am pretty sure this is it. My hope is that everything continues to go well, and I continue to enjoy my college years at the U of M!
