Hi everyone. My name is Alison Berkas and I am a freshman here at the U. I am from right up the road in Roseville, Minnesota but decided the University of Minnesota was to good of a school to pass up even though its so close to home. I was born and raised in Oman, a small country in the Middle East right below Saudi Arabia. I moved back in the 4th grade but still have all my memories and am so thankful for the experience because it has made me the person I am today. I hope to one day to live abroad with my own family.
I am in CLA and I took this class in order to fill a credit, but also because I am very undecided in what I want to major in and so I am taking classes that interest me and seeing how I enjoy them to gain some possible ideas for a major.
I am really looking forward to this class and to meet some new people!
