Prince Harry gets Promoted by the Army

Prince Harry has been promoted to captain in the British Army.

Harry, 26 who graduated from Britain's prestigious Sandhurst military academy in 2006, was also awarded an Apache Badge on Thursday after completing an eight-month course to fly the helicopter without an instructor, St. James' Palace said according to CNN.

Prince Harry who has been speculated as preparing for a wedding with girlfriend Chelsy Davys will have a new title to his name, and that is captain.

There's speculation that Harry's outfit at the big nuptials will be the gold-brocaded state ceremonial uniform of the army regiment he originally joined when he left Sandhurst military academy. But palace aides will not confirm what the best man will be wearing until the day of the wedding, reports the Daily Beast.

Harry's elder brother Prince William serves in the Royal Air Force as a search-and-rescue helicopter pilot off the coast of Wales , according to CNN.
