08-09 St. Paul Board of Colleges Elections
The St. Paul Board of Colleges (SPBOC) is now seeking nominations for officers and college representatives from the St. Paul campus student body for the 2008-2009 academic year!
The St. Paul Board of Colleges (SPBOC) is the coordinating student representative body of the colleges on the St. Paul campus that include the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS), College of Design (CDES), College of Biological Sciences (CBS), College of Veterinary Medicine (VetMed), and the College of Continuing Education (CCE). The primary role of SPBOC is to act as the voice of the St. Paul campus and to support student activities and community building through its small grant process and annual awards.

We are seeking nominations for the following positions:
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE:
• Vice-President – Will assume the role of President in absence of the President.
• Secretary- Responsible for taking minutes at meetings and coordinating Board communications.
COLLEGE REPRESENTATIVES: Will communicate student concerns and questions from appropriate college to the Board and perform duties within the Board as assigned.
• College of Continuing Education Representative
• College of Design Representative
• College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences
Representative
• College of Biological Sciences Representative
• College of Education and Human Development Representative
5. Bailey Hall Representatives (2) – Must be a resident in Bailey Hall for academic year 2008-09.
6. At Large Representatives (2) – Can be from any college on the St. Paul campus. Web-development experience will be one of the main criteria for consideration.
A "Nomination Statement" is required for each student who wants to be officially considered for a position on the St. Paul Board of Colleges (SPBOC).
