CBS Student Services drop-in advising hours.
College of Biological Sciences (CBS) students or prospective CBS students are welcome to utilize our drop-in advising hours. Drop-in advising is limited to a 10 to 15 minute session. Examples of issues for drop-in advising include:

• Quick questions about academic requirements
• Review of class schedule, but not long-term planning
• Questions for U of M students wanting to transfer into CBS
• APAS questions
• Short questions and answers
• Campus referrals
• One-time-only drop processing

Drop-in will be available from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday, 229 Snyder Hall, St. Paul. Please be sure to sign-in at the CBS Student Services front desk by 3:45pm; sign-in closes at this time.

There’s a new service on our website that allows you to search for answers to commonly asked questions. Check out Ask Us, http://www.cbs.umn.edu/studentservices/askus.html. Simply type in several keywords to your question and click on “Search�? to find the answer.

As always, current CBS students can make one-on-one appointments with their advisor for more in-depth questions and course planning
