At the request of the provost, CBS has created a report that captures the recommendations of the Dean's Advisory Council, the current state of biology education at the University of Minnesota and the very real opportunities that exist as the biological sciences continue to expand like no other area of scientific inquiry. It's equal parts strategic plan and vision statement with an eye to both short-term realities and long-term possibilities.

This report is meant to be a springboard for dialogue about the future of biology at the U. We want to hear from you. Above each page is a "comments" link. Just follow the link to leave your suggestions and ideas.
