Gunman Wounds 8 in South L.A. Street Shootings
8 people were wounded Wednesday after a gunman fired into a crowd of people.
The shootings occurred around 3:15 p.m. at the intersection of Central and Vernon avenues. Some of those who were wounded where middle school students.
A 10-year-old girl, an 11-year-old girl, a 12-year-old girl and a 49-year-old woman were critically injured. A 12-year-old girl, a 14-year-old boy,a 48-year-old man, and a 68-year-old man suffered minor injuries.
