my first year experience.

did i tell you about our 6 months? it was wonderful. so so wonderful :) nothing went wrong and it was just a beautiful day overall.

the boy picked me up at around 11:45 and we started our drive to minneapolis. in the car on the way, he gave me a clipboard with a collage of a whole bunch of pictures of us surrounded by different places we have gone together. it is soo nice, and i really like it. we arrived at the nicollet island inn where we had breakfast. that restaurant is so cute, and we got a good little spot by the window :) the sun was shining in, and it felt perfect. i ordered creme brulee french toast which was AMAZING. the french toast was shaped in circles, had raspberry sauce all around it, and chocolate swirls half melted on top. DELICIOUS. the boy got eggs, bacon, hash browns, and banana pancakes, which i must say was also delicious. it was just a really cute restaurant that just perfectly fit the occasion so we will definetely be going back there again :)

after brunch there was an art fair across the river that popped out of no where! we were just so lucky that is was going on that day. both the boy and i love art, so it was a good time. we got free dibs, ritz crackers, and vitamin water so that made our day also! haha we had a nice stroll by the river hand and hand, and had some good conversations :)

we then left the art fair and were both craving to watch Hitch, so we went to Blockbuster and rented it. we then went to his house to watch the movie and lay by one another. it was just a really cute way to spend our 6 months.

the day couldn't of been any better. that boy continues to make me happier and happier, and seriously, i'm so glad to have him. everything is just going really good with us and i hope and pray the next 6 months are the very same. :)

hm. work. it's my first/last day of my senior year summer vacation. i'm guessing i'll use this blog either once (right now) or whenever i'm bored at work (like now). just something to make the time pass i guess.

my u of m freshmen orientation is on the 18th and 19th of june. i'm pretty excited i must say. i'm definetely excited that highschool has passed and i can move on to bigger and better things. like the u of m! which i am VERY excited for. i can't wait to see where i'm living, i can't wait to pick out things for my dorm, i can't wait til i move out and move in, i can't wait til my first classes (well, maybe i can). i just can't wait for the whole college-life-experience in general!

summer has officially started and i'm in work-mode now. monday through friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. sometimes it keeps my attention and other times i'm so bored i want to blow my head off (like right now). i hope that next year at the u i get a job in the dental building. i don't care what it is- i'll scrub floors for god's sake- i just want to be IN that building.

me and the boy are wonderful. our 6 months is next saturday, and being with him has been amazing. half a year is big for me. my first serious relationship. that boy continues and continues to make me happy every single day. i DO just enjoy being around him, it just makes me happy. i hope i'm not losing sight of my priorities, because that's the last thing i would want. it just feels really nice to have someone like him.

i'm in desperate need of cash, i need the money to start flowing in soon!
