Great! Are there any transportation suggestions (cheap) to get from the airport to the dorms? Or carpool, vanpool, share bus/taxi with other's arriving around the same time?

You may take the Light Rail Hiawatha Line from the Lindberg Airport terminal to the Nicollet Mall Station in downtown Minneapolis and then take a bus to Roseville in the corner of Hennepin and 4th St S. The bus route number may vary depending where you will be staying. Go to metrotransit.org and input Nicollet Mall and 4th St S as the "From" address and your hotel address as the "To" address and it will tell you what bus(es) to take to your hotel.
