Friday Random Top 10

Want to see where you can sit in the new Target Field and how much it will cost you? Click here for a very cool interactive site that shows all the different pricing levels. More on this next week after I play with it for a little bit. Now here's your Friday Random Top 10:

1. Stretch Out and Wait -- The Smiths
2. Outdone -- Uncle Tupelo
3. Last Roundup -- The Feelies
4. On the Tundra -- Guided By Voices
5. Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon -- Neil Diamond
6. On the Battlefron -- The dB's
7. Clash City Rockers -- The Clash
8. You're Still On My Mind -- The Byrds
9. You Can't Do That -- The Beatles
10. Big Black Smoke -- The Kinks

Just think if you were stuck in traffic and this list was playing on the radio. It would make you happier wouldn't it? Also you wouldn't change the channel either. What's your top 10?

I got the print version of that Target Field site in the mail yesterday.

Was pleased to see a good number of seats will be in the area of $20 or less. Hopefully Shane and Spycake can relax now. :-)

Actually Snyder I think Spycake wanted $5.00 tickets so I am not sure if he will be satisfied.

The Handsome Family "All the Time in Airports" Last Days of Wonder
Lucinda Williams "Main Road" Sweet Relief--A Benefit for Victoria Williams
Buena Vista Social Club "De Camino a la Vereda" Buena Vista Social Club
Albert King "Laundromat Blues" The Complete Stax/Volt Singles: 1959-1968
Shobha Gurtu "Dil Leke Muijhe Badnaam Kiva" Shobha Gurtu
Giant Sand "Astonished (in Memphis)" Chore of Enchantment
Peter Gabriel "Solsbury Hill" Shaking the Tree: 16 Golden Greats
Sonic Youth "The Sprawl" (live) Daydream Nation
Troy Andrews "Ooh Poo Pah Doo" Big Ol' Box of New Orleans
James Brown "Bring It Up" Live at the Apollo Volume II

Talking Heads "Give Me Back My Name" Little Creatures

Two good lists this week. Let's open a radio station!

Oh, I wanted to play the Coen Bros. game but haven't seen the new one yet so thought I should hold off.

Spycake needs to get real, then. Not even the Saints sell $5 tickets, I don't think.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it'll do even better in those areas, but for now it's a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod's strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
