Have a good mission--and thanks for doing such service!

Oh, you never answered my question about Speed the Plough--do you have their CDs?

Sorry about that George, no I don't have any Speed the Plough. Any suggestions on what I should check out?

I got 10 more for you (again, a pretty hard-rocking list)

Foo Fighters - The Deepest Blue is Black
Jimi Hendrix - The Wind Cries Mary
Dredg - Walk in the Park
Staind - Mudshovel
Nirvana - Lake of Fire
Nine Inch Nails - Terrible Lie
Chevelle - Forfeit
Mudvayne - Severed
Tool - Right in Two
Dredg - Yatahaze

Have an great time in Haiti, it's a great thing you're doing.

Actually, I was wondering if you wanted me to send you some as a thank you for Shore Leave.

Would need a snail mail address, of course, but you can send that via email.

That game was awesome!

I'm not sure if I have a bigger man-crush on Lawrence Westbrook or Tubby Smith right now!

1. "Catholic Boy" - Jim Carroll - Catholic Boy
2. "My Little Red Book" - Love - Love Story 1966 - 1972
3. "Lonesome Suzie" - The Band - Music From Big Pink
4. "You're Still Standing There" - Steve Earle - I Feel Alright
5. "Northstar Blues" - Magnolia Electric Co. - What Comes After the Blues
6. "Baby Let Me Follow You Down" - Bryan Ferry - Dylanesque
7. "Hazy Jane II" - Nick Drake - Bryter Layter
8. "Freakin' Out" - Graham Coxon - Happiness in Magazines
9. "re: Stacks" - Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago
10."O-o-h Child" - The Five Stairsteps - The Best Of
bonus--"Breaking In My Heart" - Television - Double Exposure (bootleg)

It's a good list whenever Nick Drake and Television pop up.

E-6, Catholic Boy by Jim Carroll, that's an album that unfortunately never made it to my digital collection.

It holds up surprisingly well. I remember having a lot of drunken sing-alongs of "People Who Died" with my college roommates.

Teddy sniffing glue, he was 12 years old
Fell from the roof on East Two-nine
Cathy was 11 when she pulled the plug
On 26 reds and a bottle of wine
Bobby got leukemia, 14 years old
He looked like 65 when he died
He was a friend of mine

Hey Snyder, did you check out the P. Funkadelic show this past week? I heard it was a gas.

No. I wanted to go, but a Monday night P-Funk show did not seem like a great idea with all the stuff I had going on at work last week.

Hopefully next time they come, it'll be a better night. Or at least not during the Legislative session.
