For Lent I am fasting on Fridays. I did it 10 years ago so I thought I was due. Even though I maintain that there is a sandwich in every bottle of beer, drinking alcohol does not break may fast. Let's celebrate with a random top 10.

I'm giving up soda pop for Lent. Wish me luck!
I'm not a big pop drinker so that would be an easy one for me. The wife gave up pop for Lent, however, a few years back and it was tough. Good Luck.
Fasting for a day in some respects is easier. You suffer for one day then pig out the 6 others but I think I'll be reeling tonight about 9:00 with an achingly empty stomach watching BSG.
Yeah, I don't like the idea of fasting one day a week and pigging out the other six, but giving up pop should be challenging enough and it also fits in with my overall goal of losing some weight.
