I saw MacBeth last night at the Guthrie Theater. Fourth row, dead center. I will have a review next week but I can say the performance was awesome and highly recommended. Here's a top 10:

1. Jagged - Old 97's
2. Send For Me - Nat King Cole
3. Stay Away - Nirvana
4. Evidence - Thelonious Monk
5. Daughter - Pearl Jam
6. Gone - The Wedding Present
7. O, Dana - Big Star
8. The Comedians - Roy Orbison
9. Song For Patty - Sammy Walker
10. It's Never That Easy Though, Is It - Los Campesinos!

Your parents are in Ft. Myers?! So, besides the beaches (and the Twins), what else should we do there?

First 10 thumbs-up tracks off Pandora, full mix:

* I was a this concert (Wiltern Theater, LA, 1986); I especially liked the opening act – Steve Howe and Steve Hackett performing acoustic solos and duets

I managed to give a reasonably competent presentation on Macbeth in high school without reading more than one or two scenes. One of my proudest moments.

* Insatiable (Two) – … Trail of Dead – The Century of Self
* Growing Into You – Soul Asylum – Grave Dancers Union

* Bullet in the Head – Rage Against the Machine – (self-titled)
* Hard Row – Black Keys – Thickfreakness
* Celebration Day – Led Zeppelin – Led Zeppelin III
* Endlessly Making an End of Things – Yellow Swans – At All Ends

Re: Fort Myers. Besides the Beach and the Twins Spring Training what else do you want? Sheesh!! :o)

Actually my dad likes to golf, so we do that. Tennis is big in my family too. Looking at gators in the Everglades is fun. Basically when we go down it's all about hanging out in the sun, keeping the G&T chilled, and hawking autgraphs at the Lee County Sports Complex.

Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.
