Two months from day is the official opening of Target Field and the beginning of outdoor baseball in Minnesota. Can you tell I'm counting down the days? Here's a random top 10 to get us just a little closer to that date.

Pitchers and catchers report in a couple weeks. I hope Joe Mauer has been eating his Wheaties during the off season. I'd hate to think that he's laying awake at night fretting about facing Felix Hernandez and Cliff Lee ...

Rilo Kiley "I Never" More Adventurous
Shriekback "Nemesis" Oil & Gold
Alison Krauss & Union Station "The Boy Who Wouldn't Hoe Corn" New Favorite
Crooked Fingers "Run, Lieutenant, Run" Forfeit/Fortune
Muzsikas "Bonchidai Lassu Magyar" The Bartok Album
Crooked Fingers "Devil's Train" Bring on the Snakes
Astor Piazzolla "Adios Nonico" Un Siecle de Tango Volume 2
Chavez "Top Pocket Man" Ride the Fader
Stereolab "Monster Sacre" Emperor Tomato Ketchup

The Arcade Fire "Ocean of Noise" Neon Bible

I ruin the heavy-hitter run....

Stagger, I'm predicting a Mariners-Twins ALCS this year.

That would be great. It's been lean pickings of late in Seattle. I'd be behind the M's 100% but I've always been a closet Twins fan. I was hoping Seattle would make a run at Ron Gardenhire when Lou Piniella pulled up stakes. Gardenhire always has the Twins in the hunt. We seem to be headiing in the right direction now with our new skipper and GM.

Oh Lord my I-pod died during my walk through campus this afternoon. It's done this before and has come back but this looks more serious. I am worried. Maybe it's because I was listening to Beck.

1. "Our Lips Are Sealed" The Go-Go's Beauty And The Beat
2. "Graham Greene" John Cale Paris 1919
3. "Distopian Dream Girl" Built To Spill There's Nothing Wrong With Love
4. "Older Guys" Teenage Fanclub Thirteen
5. "Take Me Home and Make Me Like It" Alex Chilton Bach's Bottom
6. "Which Will" Nick Drake Pink Moon
7. "Iris" The Breeders Pod
8. "Always Crashing in the Same Car" David Bowie Low
9. "Submission" The Sex Pistols Nevermind the Bollocks
10. "Drunks With Guns" Pavement Slanted & Enchanted: Luxe & Reduxe

I brought drunks with guns. Does that count?

They are great. I like below ones the most:
Boys Like Girls - Boys Like Girls: "Hero/Heroine"
Boys Night Out - Boys Night Out: "Fall for the Drinker"
Maroon 5 - It Won't Be Soon Before Long: "Goodnight Goodnight"
