I'm feeling a bit light-headed as the World Cup final approaches (Go wooden shoes!) so I went for some heady modern psychedelia to keep my glow until kickoff.

1. School of Seven Bells - Babelonia
2. Autolux - The Science of Imaginary Solutions
3. Tycho - Adrift
4. Boards of Canada - An Eagle In Your Mind
5. Tame Impala - Half Full Glass of Wine
6. Black Bright Morning Light - Everybody
7. Dead Meadow - Such Hawks, Such Hounds
8. Sungrazer - If
9. Caspian - Sycamore
10. Arms & Sleepers - The Tourist

Do yourself a favor and go look for the open letter the Cav's owner posted for LeBron. Sad (and unintentionally hilarious because it's done in light blue Comic Sans, so it looks like a teacher's lounge notice).

1) Three Button Hand Me Down - The Faces/5 Guys Walk into a Bar
2) Inner City Blues - Marvin Gaye/What's Going On
3) Been Gone Too Long - Hourglass/Duane Allman: An Anthology, Vol. 2
4) I Don't Need - Andy Fairweather Low/Sweet Soulful Music
5) Ready or Not Here I Come - The Delfonics/Love Train - The Philly Sound
6) Narcissist - The Libertines/The Libertines
7) The Milkman of Human Kindness - Billy Bragg/Must I Paint You a Picture?
8) Oh Didn't He Ramble - Kid Ory/Kid Ory! Favorites!
9) I Ain't Broke (but I'm Badly Bent) - Old & In The Way/That High Lonesome Sound
10) Please Don't Tell Me How the Story Ends - Kris Kristofferson/The Essential

The whole LBJ circus is the kind of thing that makes me feel increasingly disconnected from professional sports. I used to be a big NBA guy but my interest has waned dramatically. That might have something to do with the Sonics being so gracelessly ripped out of Seattle. Out of spite, I hope that the Cavs somehow manage to retool and they just own the Heat for the next decade. I doesn't seem likely but it's fun to dream.

Go Spain!

bonus: Ego Tripping Out - Marvin Gaye/The Master

About the world cup, that was a big step for the U.S. Maybe next world cup u can take it a step further. Big Ups.

Who thinks the recession is Bush's fault? The Democrats! Who thinks the recession is Obama's fault? The Republicans! Who thinks they're both right? Me!

I have been absent for some time, but now I remember why I used to love this web site. Thank you, I will try and check back more frequently. How frequently you update your site?
