Hello, this is my first to my U of M blog and could possibly be my last. The assignment suggested that I delve into how I decided to come to the University of Minnesota, so I decided to start there. I first applied to the University, not thinking that I would attend it. My first choice at the time was St. Thomas. However, once I found out that I was accepted into Carlson, I knew I couldn't pass it up. Also, to help my decision making process, my cousin is a student at Carlson and said how great it was and how it opened up so many possiblities for the future.
I am thinking for a major in Finance. I don't really know why I chose finance, but I think it is a good major to get for me to get where I want to go. What I have heard from my cousin is that really if you work hard, any major will be great in the eyes of a company when it is from Carlson.
