Public Testimony at the Capitol 2/23/11

Among many advocates who provided public testimony in the House Health and Human Services Finance Committee, two individuals spoke specifically about Child Welfare elements of the budget. This testimony took place on Wednesday, February 23, 2011.

The advocates who spoke about Child Welfare issues each have different backgrounds.

Judith Brumfeld is the Deputy Director of Community Services at Scott County. She spoke on behalf of the MN Association of Counties and the MN Association of Social Service Administrators. Judith spoke from minutes 45:00-51:30.

Charles LeTourneau, of the Foster Care Alumni of America, spoke as an alumnus of the Ramsey County Child Welfare System. Charles' testimony can be heard from 1:19:00-1:22:15.
